Bankhead Boys Association was established in 1990 as an organization for young men in underserved areas of Atlanta.

​We blend the influence of corporate work place mentoring, social services, and the values and discipline of scouting into our program to provide a path for opportunity, citizenship
​and leadership.

A 2018 Bloomberg report based on U.S. Census Bureau calculations and the distribution of household income ranked Atlanta the most unequal large city in the United States. Certain neighborhoods suffer from what’s known as concentrated poverty, resulting in crime, underperforming schools, little to no jobs, and poor housing and health conditions.​
